Fourth Revolution in Sport Training” (FRIST) project’s central aim is to foster digital transformation in sport organizations across Europe, particularly focusing on grassroots and amateur levels that struggle with digital literacy, limited access to digital tools, and a lack of integration of digital innovations.

Project Overview and Objective
– The FRIST project aims to elevate digital skills and competencies in sport organizations across Europe, addressing the growing need for digital tools to improve organizational efficiency, performance analysis, fan engagement, and sustainability.
– The project provides targeted digital training to sport organizations, enabling them to better leverage technology and innovate within their structures.
– It seeks to enhance cooperation and knowledge-sharing between sport organizations across different European countries, creating a more interconnected sport ecosystem.
– Main Objective is to strengthen the digital capabilities of sport organization staff to better adapt to the evolving digital landscape in sports.
Coordinated by Lota’s Box from Croatia, consortium consists of BAIS form Hungary, BSDA form Bulgaria, Swimming Academy Rok Kerin from Slovenia and Female Volleyball Club Pazin form Croatia. 18 month long project starts in December 2024, co-funded by Erasmus+ program
The training program is the core activity of the project, designed to offer theoretical and practical applications of digital tools and strategies relevant to the sport sector, such as:
– Digital technologies and tools for sport management
– Data analytics and performance analysis
– Digital marketing and fan engagement
– Online safety and digital ethics
– Future trends in digital transformation within sports
The training is structured in three parts over seven months:
Part 1: Introduction to Digital Transformation (1-day in-person): Sets a foundation for understanding digital technologies and creating digital strategies.
Part 2: Virtual Training (1-day virtual): Focuses on digital tools and virtual facilitation.
Part 3: Advanced Digital Training (2-day in-person): Covers specialized topics like digital marketing, data analytics, and digital project management.
Continuous mentorship and support will be provided between sessions, ensuring practical application of the lessons learned.
